The Office of Employee Relations and Ethics (ERS) is committed to creating a positive, collaborative work environment that supports every district employee. By working closely with partners like the Teachers Association of Long Beach (TALB), the California School Employees Association (CSEA) and the Association of Long Beach Educational Managers and Confidential Employees (ALBEM), ERS fosters open communication and addresses the needs of all staff with care and respect. Through strong relationship-building, fair contract negotiations and effective resolution of workplace concerns, ERS ensures that labor agreements are honored and staff feel supported. These efforts contribute to a productive, student-centered atmosphere that uplifts employees and the broader educational community.
Ethics is about right and wrong - about what we should and shouldn't do. What are the principles that should guide our behavior?
